Don't blame the weather forecasters. Blame yourself!

This post goes out to the businesses that closed down on Friday, when they didn't have to close down and are now complaining. The same businesses that stopped advertising locally because they started advertising on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. This post goes out to the people that are complaining about the weather forecast being wrong, yet put the local business that used to advertise with the local  media out of business because they saved ten bucks using amazon.com. Most of all, this post is for all the "cord cutters."
You get what you pay for.  Plain and simple. Weather equipment costs money. Plain and simple, the money the media has been starved. I wish I could say  it is going to get better, but it is not. With media crushing legislation introduced this week by State Representative Roger Kane, it is only going to get much worse.

From a personal standpoint, I have had some awesome equipment that I have wanted to add to my weather shack put on permanent delay. Everyone wants more from the media, Yet, nobody wants to pay for it.  However, as weather forecasts become farther off. As government passes laws that will cost businesses more, because the assembly in Nashville has no beat coverage. Guess what, you are going to for it...
