The fourth semi-annual Rib Fest is in 2 days! June 11, 2 pm at 2011 Flagler Road Knoxville Tennessee 37912. This is a totally free and totally open event. NO speeches, NO requests for donations. NOTHING.This event has grown every year and this year I expect to be no exception! Years past have been a thank you celebration of a lucky life, a chance to make new friends and get together with old ones. Talk politics or just shoot the breeze and eat ribs and fixins till you bust!! (yes, we will have burgers, dogs and chicken for kids and those with less refined tastes :-)). We are adding to the celebration this year by joining with politico/blogger/cool facebook guy David Oatney to celebrate his ordination. We also have booked the band "The Dirty Dougs" to come play.
