NWS in Morristown OFFICIAL FACTS BURN NPS OFFICIAL STATEMENT!

So as the S.M.A.R.T. TEAM continues to dig and search for answers like no other reporting team can. We are quickly discovering that any attempts to blemish the National Weather Service in Morristown, just is not going to happen! Anthony Cavallucci of the National Weather Service in Morristown has done an excellent job of fighting off false information, with rock solid facts and data!

Example,

Unpredicted, extreme weather conditions on Sunday afternoon through Monday led to the exponential spread of fires both inside and outside of the National Park. Severe wind gusts of over 80 mph, unprecedented low relative humidity, and extended drought conditions caused the fire burning in the National Park to spread rapidly and unpredictably, in spite of suppression efforts on Sunday that included helicopter water drops.

However, we clearly see that is FALSE!

AT THIS TIME THE NWS ISSUES AN ENHANCED FIRE DAMAGE STATEMENT!

903 AM EST SUN NOV 27 2016 /803 AM CST SUN NOV 27 2016/

...ENHANCED FIRE DANGER WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ACROSS EAST TENNESSEE..SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA...AND SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA...

CRITICALLY DRY CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP BY EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON...AS RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER
TEENS TO UPPER 20S. WINDS WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT AND FROM THE
SOUTHWEST...BUT SOME LOCALLY HIGHER...ERRATIC GUSTS ARE
POSSIBLE...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN.

THIS WILL PRODUCE ENHANCED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS THE
ENTIRE REGION THROUGH THIS EVENING. WILDFIRES WILL BE EASIER TO
IGNITE AND MUCH HARDER TO CONTROL.

RESIDENTS OF EAST TENNESSEE...SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA...AND SOUTHWEST
NORTH CAROLINA NEED TO BE EXTRA VIGILANT TO PREVENT
WILDFIRES...DUE TO THE ENHANCED POTENTIAL FOR FIRE GROWTH AND
SPREAD.

However, the warning for significant weather with wind started on THANKSGIVING! While unofficial, this also highlihgts that severe winds and rain were indicated by at least one meteorologist, which could have led the Park Service to be more vigiliant!
